A very unusual find...this open sided burnoose styled overgarment is three layers of silk chiffon, embellished with braided trim and gorgeous silk ribbon art flowers...so much going on here !
There are two layers of black silk chiffon with a vibrant purple layer "sandwiched" in between, creating a floating, shifting illusion of changing colors. There are 45 flowers along the edges, 3 at the back ruched hem area, and the sides fasten at the bottom with large fabric covered buttons. This measures 47" long at the center back, 44" long at the front. Due to the unstructured styling, this will fit from a petite to a medium confortably.
There are a few small holes that get completely lost in the folds, otherwise, vibrant and very wearable. Picture this over a little black dress...or jeans !
