1950s famed designer Don Loper outdid himself on this one....fully beaded lightweight wool occasion suit, satin inserts, timeless elegance. The skirt is a simply wiggle skirt, waist 26", hips to 38", length 25". The jacket is fully beaded with shimmering copper glass beads, self covered buttons, small slash side pockets...and did I mention that beautiful copper beading that is complemented with the clever copper satin weaves of fabric ? Lined in silk crepe. The jacket photos appear to make this look boxy, in fact it has the classic nipped-in waist look so sexy and classic to the era.
Jacket measures shoulder to shoulder 16", bracelet length sleeves 19", waist to 30", bust to 38". All beads are present and bright...very slight wear to the wool, no moth issues, lining is great.
