Woof ! We all our doggies, and what's not to love here ? 1940s bakelite beads alternating with discs that have the best ever dog heads in silvertone metal, suspended from a woven leather (?) neckpiece that kinda looks like something beloved Bowser might wear....not quite rope, not quite hair jewelry either, but the combo really works, finished off with large wooden end pieces. Pretty sure this regal beagle is an Irish Setter... I dunno, but he is NOBLE in his bearing ! In excellent condition, measures 16" long, and could be lengthened by adding chain or jump rings.
