I have refashioned this original 1920s metallic braided, jeweled mesh Juliet cap, restoring it to "like new " condition, forming it on a 22" headblock, a nice, wearable medium size. I have added the heavy metallic braid to finish the cap, and the era-appropriate ornament at the front for the finishing touch.
This can be worn evenly across the forehead, tilted at a rakish angle, or further back on the crown, more the "Juliet" look. The prong set stones are a lovely ruby red and an opal-like pearl, the stones on the ornament tiny, clear matching red paste.
These Juliet caps, fitted like a "skullcap", are getting more rare all the time, and add a truly unique look to any ensemble.
